Tuck Everlasting TYA Auditions

Open to students kindergarten – seniors in high school.

Performance dates are November 15-17 and 22-24 with SCHOOL SHOWS during the school day on Thursday, November 21st. All cast members are expected to be at all performances.

Those interested should prepare a 30-60 second song of their choosing and are expected to bring sheet music for piano accompaniment. A pianist will be provided. Songs should be something the child is comfortable with and shows off their range. Each child will be allowed to read for 2 parts – one of their choosing and one of the director’s choosing. Each group will be taught a basic movement piece during auditions and will perform the piece as a group for the audition panel at the end of the hour.

ALL auditionees should fill out an audition form indicating what parts they are interested in and include ALL conflicts between August 24th and November 18th. Please submit your detailed conflicts in full at the time of auditon. Recurring conflicts reports after casting may result in the cast member being replaced. Callbacks may be held the afternoon of Sunday, August 25th. Those called back will be notified by 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 24th. Those not called back will still be considered for the show.
