Merrily We Roll Along

Originally produced on Broadway in 1981, Merrily We Roll Along is a somewhat autobiographical story by the late Steven Sondheim. Merrily We Roll along tells, in reverse, the complicated 20 year friendship of Franklin, Charles, and Mary. Franklin Shephard, originally a songwriter is now a successful Hollywood producer. Everything should be looking up for him, but his past catches up with him, and he learns being at the top can come at a price. With a book by George Furth and music and lyrics by Steven Sondheim, Merrily We Roll Along will be directed by Carly Shank.
