Auditions for Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn are here! Sign up for your audition!

Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn tells the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut… but life just isn’t the same without a bit of song and dance. Jim’s luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Linda, a spirited schoolteacher with talent to spare. Together they turn the farmhouse into a fabulous inn with dazzling performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. But when Jim’s best friend Ted tries to lure Linda to Hollywood to be his new dance partner, will Jim be able to salvage his latest chance at love? Based on the classic film, this joyous musical features thrilling dance numbers, laugh-out-loud comedy and a parade of hit Irving Berlin songs, including “Blue Skies,” “Easter Parade,” “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “White Christmas,” “Shaking the Blues Away” and many more!

Audition Schedule and Information

Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 16 from 9am – Noon and 1pm – 4pm in small groups of 10
auditionees.

Auditionees will choose a time slot for your audition with Sign Up Genius!. These will be small group time
slots. Auditionees are asked to prepare a 30 second selection that shows off their vocal abilities. Selections
from the show will be provided, but any song is fine. Since the show was originally a 1940s musical movie,
anything from the catalogs of Irving Berlin, The Gershwin’s, or Cole Porter would be a good choice. Holiday Inn
MUSIC CUTS are available upon request.

After singing there will be cold readings from the show. The rest of the audition you will learn and perform a
dance combo. Please bring TAP SHOES if you have them. Time slots will start at 9:00 am.
Call-backs, if needed, will be scheduled Sunday, 9/17.

With a lot of high energy tap numbers, we will need singers backstage. Please bring tap shoes to the audition if
you want to dance in the show.
