Follies: In Concert

The time is 1971, and theatrical impresario, Dimitri Weissmann, hosts a reunion of ex-Follies performers in his crumbling theatre, setting the stage for some of Sondheim’s best-known songs, including “Losing My Mind,” “I’m Still Here” and “Broadway Baby.” Backed by a full on-stage orchestra, this one weekend only event is surely one you will not want to miss!
A true theatrical event, this legendary masterpiece is considered by many to be the greatest musical ever created. Surreal, sophisticated, compelling, heart wrenching and epic in scope, Follies by musical theatre legend, Stephen Sondheim, and author, James Goldman, uses the musical theatre as a metaphor for the collapse of American innocence and naivete in the post-Kennedy years.

Follies: In Concert is part of the STC 75th Season fundraiser celebration! Throughout the weekend we will be looking back at our first 75 years and looking towards the future. Standard tickets for the entire run are $20 for adults and $18 for students & Seniors.
For each performance, there will be a cash bar available 1 hour before the show and during intermission provided by Arena Catering.
