13: The Musical Auditions
Do you remember what it was like to be 13? WE DO! Join Evan as he moves from big-city New York to podunk Appleton, Indiana. If Evan can’t get the coolest kids to come to his bar mitzvah, how is he going to survive the school year, not to mention, the rest of his life?

AUDITION INFORMATION
We ask that everyone that comes to auditions to BE PREPARED.
Auditions will be held Saturday, July 20TH beginning at 9:00 am at Hoogland Center for the Arts (420 S. 6th St). Callbacks will be the following day on Sunday, July 21ST.
Audition ages are HIGH SCHOOL AGE ONLY. You must be entering 9th – 12th grade in the Fall of 2024. There will be no exceptions.
Performances are one weekend only September 20TH, 21ST, 22ND. There is a potential to do a daytime school show, which will be announced later.
AUDITION DETAILS (VOCAL ONLY)
Please prepare approximately one minute and thirty seconds of a song from the show of one of the characters of which you are most interested in. Find the accompaniment track online (YouTube or other similar forum) to rehearse. Be prepared to inform directors of your choice of YouTube accompaniment video and timestamps of your choice when you arrive at your audition. *Search for karaoke tracks, as we will not accept songs with the vocals present.
AUDITION REGISTRATION (MANDATORY):
All auditionees must also fill out an audition form by July 16th.
