Audition Information
- •All children between the ages of 5 to 18 are encouraged to audition!
- •Prepare one of the provided audition songs. Bring sheet music if you like, but it will be provided on the day of auditions if needed. Accompanist or track will also be provided.
- •SIGN UP FOR BOTH A VOCAL AND DANCE TIME SLOT
Callbacks
- •Sunday, July 26th, beginning at NOON
- •Notifications will be made via phone by 8pm on Saturday, July 25th
- •Not being called back does NOT automatically mean you won't be cast, and vice versa
Rehearsal Schedule (Tentative)
Regular rehearsals: Mon-Thurs evenings from ~6-8:30pm, potentially adding in a Friday or 2 the week or two before tech week

Show Synopsis
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
